What we process
Work email addresses, public-page scan results, and the configuration needed to schedule monitoring.
What we do not scan
The launch product checks same-origin public pages only. Authenticated areas and personal customer sessions are outside its scope.
Product analytics and diagnostics
We use PostHog to count visits, understand which Stepfree features succeed or fail, measure basic performance, and diagnose software errors. We do not record sessions, capture form contents, or send scanned website addresses to PostHog. Anonymous visitors are assigned a browser-local identifier; signed-in users are linked using their Stepfree account ID, not their email address. Browser Do Not Track preferences are respected.
Retention and deletion
Anonymous scan previews expire after 30 days. Private-beta workspace data is retained while the pilot is active so week-over-week changes remain useful. Pilot participants can request an export or deletion by replying to their onboarding email.
